Lonella! Welcome, listeners to the extra inch. This is part two of our extra long podcast. We've just spoken about Norwich and we're rolling straight into the transfer window.

So if we seem a little weary, it's because this isn't a fresh podcast to us. But there's

a lot to talk about. January is nearly upon us. Nathan, I'll start off with this one from

Brendan Deary. He says, which area do you think we need to improve first? I think you will be

hard pressed to find anyone who says anything other than defence of midfield at this point.

Yeah, so that's a bigger priority to you than Rightback.

Like, Sergio is a lunatic, but he is, like, playing football at the moment.

Yeah, no, I think I would agree there was a time not that long ago where, to me,

right back was like the most obvious and clear need for an upgrade and that was when Winks and Soska were playing in midfield.

I think my problem is I just assumed that when Winks and Soko weren't playing midfield anymore

together, everything would be fine.

I think mainly the belief was that Winks could be our deepest player and bless him, he's good

on the ball, but his defensive ability just isn't there.

And maybe he can play as number eight, but that means we still need a defensive midfielder,

and it'll be hard for Winks to get game time over the likes of

Andombole and LaSeltso and maybe Erics and whoever else.

And therefore for you, the defensive midfielder to play alongside Andombole is another one priority.

Yeah.

I mean, Dye has been getting better, getting fitter, but we know that his ceiling is only so good and we are struggling in
