Summary

Christmas at Sea (poem) - Robert Louis Stevenson. A young man who has left his family to go to sea is working aboard a ship on Christmas Day while a fierce ice storm is threatening the ship and its crew. The ship is being close to shore and he can see his boyhood home through the blowing storm.

Christmas by Inquisition- O.Henry- A small gold mining town prepares a special Christmas day for a returning prospector who has promised a Santa and a sleigh full of toys for the kiddies- but the town has a problem. With only two days to go- the town has no kids- so they set out to round some up.
