Well, here we are, getting ready to celebrate our fifth Christmas together,

0:10.1

and getting ready to close out the fifth official season of Christmas past.

0:14.2

I say official because, even though the podcast is year-round now,

0:18.1

I'm well aware that this family gathering of ours is at its most bustling

0:21.9

during the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. And that's when I share the episodes

0:26.4

1:11.3

1:16.3

any spectators. I could go on and on because there were thousands of stories like this, but the

1:21.3

gist of it is that everything related to Christmas was impacted somehow by the pandemic, including

1:26.3

events, family gatherings, shopping, travel,

1:29.6

and more. And by the time we got to the holiday season, a lot of us were feeling pandemic fatigue,

1:35.8

and decided that enough was enough and tried to have a normal season anyway.
