Christine McVee passed away.

The co lead vocalist and keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac died and she was 79 years old.

And Stevie Nicks expressed her pain after the loss.

She said, my best friend, okay, pay attention to this quote and tell me what you find a little

audible. She said, my best friend in the world saying she had no clue.

Christine was sick until the weekend passed away.

She wanted to be with her, but she was told to wait.

My best friend, okay, so I guess my thing would be my best friend in the entire world,

followed by had no idea that that person had been ill.

Yeah, exactly. That's what seemed a little odd to me.

Christine McVee joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970.

They formed in 1967 and she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

with Fleetwood Mac in 1998.

So obviously Fleetwood Mac spanning decades, generations, all sorts of hits,

accolades, individual hits, accolades, where do we put when you factor in

longevity, success, notoriety, like when we're taking all those things,

where do we put Fleetwood Mac?

I mean, I don't think you would say, okay, Fleetwood Mac is the equivalent of the rolling stones

or the beetles, but I think in terms of when you factor in the things we just laid out,

Fleetwood Mac is way up on the list.

Yeah, they're up there pretty far with the staying power.

And I think the thing that makes them different is the fact that they had the two female vocalists
