What I know of my immediate and extended family, there's a ton of resilience in what's been

endured, survived, overcome. But I also think that I've always been from the time I was young, a person who just

didn't make a big deal out of something that I wanted. I just did it. And I have achieved and done

and seen and gone and worked out and whatever, a lot of things in my life because I just went I want

that I'm going to figure out a way to do it and so this was the first time actually

that I really allowed myself to be supported because I was always of the opinion that I could probably do it better than trusting someone else and having them maybe mess it up

until Maeve died and then I began to realize that of course my life was a result of everything that I've been doing up to that point.

And if I wanted something different, I needed to try something different.

And maybe there were people who were worth paying to help me learn those things instead of just

reading more and more books and going oh that was a great book all right what's

next on my list. This experience really, really turned that around for me and I think allowing yourself to be supported and studies show this too, right, is such a huge part of resilience.

And so being able to make that shift
