Christina Reachie got her first paid acting bill when she was 10. She played Shares' daughter

in the 1990 comedy Mermaids. Within a couple years, she was everywhere. The admist family,

Casper, now and then, one of the biggest child stars of the 90s.

But Reachie didn't want to be a child star, she didn't like kids movies. As soon as she

could, she started taking grown-up parts. Artsy, boundary pushing, grown-up parts, fear and

loathing in Las Vegas, the ice storm, Buffalo 66, the opposite of sex, iconic indie movies.

Shobies is a fickle thing though, and while in those ensuing years, Reachie kept working,

she wasn't getting as many of those big, thrilling dream parts. But these days, Reachie is

in a renaissance. In 2019, she was cast as Misty in Yellow Jackets, a Buzzy New Drama. In

2021, Yellow Jackets premiered on Showtime, and it was a hit. Critics raved, audiences

loved it too, and for the first time in more than 15 years, she's up for an Emmy.

There's probably no bigger Christina Reachie fan than Jordan Cruciola. There's certainly

no bigger Yellow Jackets fan than Jordan Cruciola. Jordan is a film writer and the host

of the Maximum Fun Podcast, Feeling Scene. When we have the chance to book Christina

Reachie on Bullseye, we knew exactly who to call. In case you haven't seen it, Yellow Jackets

is about a group of teenage girls who survive a horrific plane crash. The timeline on the

show alternates between the crash itself, and now, when the adult survivors are forced

to sort through their trauma. Christina Reachie plays one of those adult survivors, Misty.

Misty is a bit of an introvert, who's never popular growing up. She's usually eager
