The Illuminati was real, but it didn't exist forever. The Illuminati was a secret society found in Bavaria, Germany.

It began on May 1, 1776, and it only lasted about nine years until 1785. It didn't rule the world. It did not last for centuries. It was organized. It was ideological

and dangerous enough that the government had to crush it. Bavarian leadership outlawed this

Aluminati under Duke Carl Theodore. It arrested the members and it also seized important documents that actually

exposed this group's ideas and methods. At its peak, it was reported that the Aluminati

had from 2,000 to 3,000 members. They used the following tactics that actually should sound similar and familiar to us.

Members spied on each other. They sought influence rather than publicity.

They also infiltrated Masonic lodges using existing networks to spread their ideology.
