Welcome back to Issues CETRA. I'm Todd Wilkin, joining us to talk about Christians in the

vocation of medicine. Dr. Donna Harrison, a retired board certified obstetrician and gynecologist,

director of research for the American Association of Pro LifeLife Obstricians and Gynecologists.

She is Associate Scholar for the Charlotte Lozier Institute and author of a column for the March

Issue of the Luther Witness magazine titled Masks of God's Mercy. Dr. Harrison, welcome back.

Thanks, bugs. I'm glad to be here. We've come to associate healthcare with the nuts and bolts of public policy and health

care coverage.

What are we missing about the nature of health care when we focus exclusively on those things?

Well, when we look at health care as public policy and coverage, that's important because

we do need to have public policy that leads to healthy society.

It's good.

But the important thing for a Christian who's trying to discern is this where God is calling me to invest my time and talent?
