Welcome to the show here. We're well into December and I'm actually getting on an airplane at seven o'clock tomorrow morning.

That means I have to get to the airport at 5.30. It means I have to leave my house about what? 4.30 in order to go to

Zondervin to record a series of videos associated with the new book that will be coming out in June September 6th,

which is not only D day, but it's my 25th anniversary day. So it's called street smarts and so I've got my hands

floor right now, but and I'm thinking about some things as I'm working through the scripting from the

manuscript. So you write the book and then you take the manuscript and then you write scripts from

the material. You try to condense it down to make something workable on video. There's going to be

10 video sessions for this book because it's an 80,000 word book and some of you are wondering how

how big is that? Well, story of reality was 55,000 just to give you an idea. So it's longer than that.

I think 10th anniversary was 75,000 of tactics and so this is around that size a little bit bigger.

Anyway, so lots of work that I'm working on right now and stumble across some things I want to chat

with you about. But before I get to that, I want to mention something else. I just want you to think

about this. What's been going on in the culture and the role that we at Standard Reason have taken,

working very hard to make a difference in the lives of Christians to make a difference

in the culture for the cause of Christ because our focus is on you. It's not on the culture. I mean,

we address that. I speak at universities of a university who can tuck you the end of January,

the last day of January. I fly out. Nevertheless, what our goal really is is to train you up

to meet the need wherever your boots hit the ground. And of course, I've talked about the,

what I called a couple of years ago, the ideological tidal wave that's hit our culture

and has been hammering Christians. I look back on that now and that looks like a short break given

what's been happening the last two years. And so my focus personally, when I think about this,
