0:00.0	It's one thing to look at Christianity from the inside, but it's a very different thing to be on the outside of the Christian faith looking in.
0:14.0	What is it like to be a person of another faith who is surrounded by Christians.
0:23.5	One day I was leaving my home when I was still a pastor running off to a meeting.
0:29.2	I was a little bit late, and so I was going as fast as I could from my front door to my car.
0:36.5	And my next door neighbor, who Jewish yells across the lawn to me,
0:41.9	hey, Brian, I need to talk to you.
0:43.5	Do you have a minute?
0:44.7	And I said, well, I just have a minute.
0:46.5	I'm already a little bit late.
0:47.9	She says, it won't take long.
0:49.1	And she came over and she said, Brian, I was listening to Christian radio all this morning.
0:55.3	She said, not for inspiration, but for surveillance purposes.
1:00.2	And she said, the preachers, I heard about five different preachers say somewhere in their broadcast, the same thing.
1:08.9	They said, we're going to take this country back for Jesus.
1:12.7	And she tried to capture the accent that she heard it said in,
1:16.2	we're gonna take this country back for Jesus.
1:19.8	And she said, Brian, what is that supposed to say
1:23.9	to a Jewish person like me, to a Jewish mother like me, does it mean I should pack up my
1:29.7	kids and move to Canada? And I remember in that moment, I felt what it must be like to be a part
1:41.0	of the Jewish minority in a Christian majority country.
1:47.5	This will be a two-part episode about understanding Christianity as neighbor.
