It would be unprecedented for the Patriots to do that for the crafts to okay that and my impression from being in

Phoenix and around the team was that they they know they're pretty much up against

the budget right now now I don't know if said budget also includes another big ticket item, like an A.J. Brown, like in Christian Gonzalez.

I'm not sure about that.

But let me propose this to you guys, because I think everybody's sort of working out the same timeline.

What if the next three off seasons, as far as big moves, what if it's mapped out as

AJ Brown this year, Christian Gonzalez next year, Drake May the year after?

Because, you know, the Patriots don't like to do things early unless they get a really

significant discount, like on the Grunkowski contract extension. And remember, with both Gonzalez and May, the Patriots have not

only the fifth year option, but they have the franchise tag. So I think a more likely timeline

is A.J. Brown, if they can swing it. If not, then Christian Gonzalez moves up.

But Brown, Gonzalez, then May the next three.
