This one is a rather sad short.

And the reason is that I just read an article by Baronel Stussman.

And I'll read part of that to you in a moment, but I drew attention to Baranelle some time ago.

In my book, Truth Matters, Life Matters More.

It was as a result of reading an article in the Washington Post. It was her article

titled, I'm a florist, but I refused to do flowers for my gay friend's wedding. In that article, Baronell noted that Rob Ingersoll was one of her

favorite clients. She says, I knew he was gay, but it didn't matter. I enjoyed his company

and his creativity.

Well, Rob asked her to create a floral arrangement for his marriage.

And Baranelle said that she could not participate in this

because it violates principles that were at the very

core of her faith. She felt badly that she could not share this day with Robb and make a floral

arrangement for his wedding to a man. So she took his hands,

said she was sorry, and after providing Rob with the names of three floral artists who could make

his same-sex wedding special, they hugged.

Well, she could hardly have imagined what would happen next.

First, she was sued by Washington State Attorney,

General Rob Ferguson, and then shortly thereafter, Rob and his partner,

filed suit as well.

Now, Baronell noted that she had employed gays and lesbians, that Rob had been a long-time

customer, and that he had many other wonderful vendors
