Ladies and gentlemen, I hate to be the one to break it to you.

But in case you weren't aware, there are, in fact, blasphemy laws in the United States of America.

Or at least there are in practice because what you just saw was actually a man being arrested for

quoting a Bible verse.

This happened in Reading, Pennsylvania.

There was a pride parade happening on public property.

And as you can see, this man managed to upset one of the officers and attendants by quoting the Bible.

And not that it really matters, but just for context, the Bible verse that this man was quoting was a first Corinthians 1433.

And I'm going to read a little bit more of the verse just so we understand it.

Starting from verse 29, it says, two or three prophets should speak and the others should weigh carefully what is said.

And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.

For you can all prophecy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.
