0:06.0	who's sitting at the right hand of God.
0:12.0	That's the incredible thing.
0:14.0	That God has designed the judge to be our defense attorney.
0:23.0	When we read the narrative of the death of the first Christian martyr,
0:26.0	you remember the death of Stephen.
0:29.0	How Stephen preached before the Jewish authorities,
0:32.0	before the Sanhedrin,
0:33.0	which was the highest Jewish court in Israel.
0:36.0	And they were so provoked and so angry with Stephen
0:40.0	that the scriptures tell us their hatred
0:42.0	became so intense and vehement
0:44.0	that they were gnashing their teeth
0:46.0	and picking up stones
0:48.0	and they couldn't wait to kill it.
0:50.0	And so there's a kangaroo court
0:52.0	and the highest court in Israel
0:54.0	sentences Stephen to death on the spot for heresy.
1:00.0	And so they start throwing stones at him.
1:02.0	And while the stones are bouncing off his head
1:04.0	and off his chest and off his face
