Angela attended a national conservative convention back in June 2023 when the Lord put this issue on her heart to speak on at large: that there are way too many conservatives who claim Christ without abiding in Him, how Christ is missing ALTOGETHER from many conservative spheres, and how conservatives have the same dangerous tendency as leftists to create an idol or identity of their politics which creates the false notion of self-righteousness. The truth is... Christ-less conservatism does not hate sin. It just hates leftism. So really, Christ-less conservatism is no better than leftism... We CHRISTIANS shouldn't forget that. 1:16.2	So the Lord actually put this topic on my heart back in June when I attended a conservative convention, for lack of a better word, and I witnessed a few things about it that really grieved me as a Christian. Okay, so there's four points to that. One is
1:26.5	how many conservatives or how many conservative spheres of influence,
1:31.5	rather, conservative spheres of influence and conversation that Jesus is missing from altogether,
1:39.5	despite that conservative values come from the Holy Bible, right?
1:46.0	Or alternatively, how in many Christian spheres, or I'm sorry, conservative spheres of influence,
1:55.2	the Bible is used as a supplemental tool to the movement rather than rightfully platformed as the supply
2:05.6	of the movement. Okay. And then the third is that many Christian influencers either do not claim
2:13.5	Christ at all or if they do claim him, attesting of the spirits and observation of the fruit would determine that although they may claim him, they do not necessarily abide in him.
2:28.6	And now, I would never assume someone's salvation, but when folks are obsessed with vanity,
2:35.0	self-righteousness, pop culture, and worldliness,
2:37.3	we can carefully discern the possibility
2:41.4	that because they are so in love with works of the flesh,
2:44.7	that perhaps they have been not born again of the spirit.
