He's a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit and is currently the executive director of a

nonprofit organization called Acts 29, which exists to work with pastors and their teams to

transform their parish culture and reclaim the church's missionary identity. He was ordained in 1996.

Father Ricardo was one of the founders of the Put Out Into the Deep Men's conferences in the Archdiocese of Detroit.

It's something he's passionate about. He wants men to be men, to be the heads of their families.

But more importantly, he wants men to have a personal relationship with Jesus,

to be a friend of Jesus.

That's an important part of Father Ricardo's first talk today.

In March of 2013, the Archdiocese of Detroit had what they called a men's retreat.
