Many people have gone through the experience that is known worldwide as Alpha, a quick attempt

to lead people into an encounter with the person of Jesus.

A question remains, though, if that was Alpha, what's the Omega?

What's the end?

What's the goal?

What's the point?

It seems to me that scripture tells us the

point in first thessalonians chapter four verse three that the will of god is our sanctification

the omega is to become saints to become holy the final session in the next necessary step

I'm really convinced that God's doing something in our family, in our parish family.

And I think that we're going to begin to touch about something tonight, which perhaps we're going to unpack in Lent. I don't know yet.

I'm still wrestling with the Lord trying to figure out what's supposed to happen.

But suffice to say, we're just going to begin to skim the surface as we close Alpha 201 tonight.

And it's entitled The Primacy of Love.

We've been talking about the Omega, right?

Alpha is this initial encounter with Jesus.

The Omega is 1st Thessalonians chapter 4, verse 3,

that the will of God is your what?

Sanctification, right?

That you become holy.
