We wish you a Merry Christmas—and a reminder of the proverbial reason for the season. Our prayer is that, amid the noise surrounding modern-day Christmas celebrations, we may as yet hear the faint echo of Isaiah's earth-shattering pronouncement: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Emmanuel." And, "he will save his people from their sins."Merry Christmas from Hank Hanegraaff and the rest of the Christian Research Institute family. 1:40.3	And so we see that salvation means far more than being saved from sin.
1:48.2	We are saved for sonship.
1:52.8	We are saved to be divinely adopted sons and daughters of God.
2:00.1	Forgiveness is, of course, the precondition for God's greater gift,
2:07.3	the gift that will last beyond our death, the gift of divine life.
