Hello, Edmundson here. I'm the brand new host of Out To Lunch.

Yes, it's me. Now, Out To Lunch is a very simple premise.

I low my guests into a false sense of security by taking them out for a really

good notch-up, and they lower their guards and tell me everything I've always

wanted to know about them. What could possibly go wrong?

Today, I'm in an old car showroom in the middle of Piccadilly in London.

In a restaurant named after the cars they used to sell here,

the Woolsey. Or as my French friend used to call it,

the Woosley. It's spelt very oddly. It was built in the 1920s when cars were a real

luxury item, and the room is spectacular, full of marble pillars and geometric

floors and a domed ceiling, very high ceiling too.

It was converted into a restaurant about 20 years ago, and it's a kind of

upmarket grand cafe in that sort of European style. A kind of,

yes, a really posh brazzory. I'm up in one of the private dining rooms in a sort of

gallery overlooking the rest of the restaurant. Very good if you're a

nosy parker, like me. It's the favorite place of my

guest today. A very, very special guest.
