And so as we started to kind of go over the crown of the first section of the road and descend into the

underpass area, I saw a pair of headlights coming at me at freeway speeds. It's a 30-mile-an-hour

zone, and the car was going exceptionally fast, so fast that I couldn't mentally process what to do. And we were T-bones.

The family sedan had been hit by a Jeep. The impact was immediate and devastating.
