So we'll just start right in by talking about your amazing novel.

Okay, first of all, tell listeners, this is your third

novel what this is about and what inspired you to write it, please. Okay, so the book we begin at the

end. It's a story that follows kind of a year in the life of a 13-year-old girl named Duchess

as she tries to protect her family in the wake of a convicted killer

moving back to the small California town that she lives in. And kind of in doing so, she sets off
