Hey, welcome to the show. I'm Nora, and with me as always is Oda. Hello, Sarah Oda. Here I am. Today's show, we have Chris Thiele. He is, I think he's a genius. I was going to say he's a bit of a whiz. He is amazing. He's an old friend and a brilliant mandolin player musician.

And he's been playing music since he was just a wee, wee child, like five.

Yeah.

He came on the scene a long time ago with his band, Nickel Creek, which sort of took the

bluegrass scene by Storm.

And he's had this incredible solo career. He took over for Garrison Keeler's Prairie Home

Companion. They renamed it live from here, and it was a brilliant takeover of a show,

and he really found his own way with it. He has played with every brilliant musician I can

think of.

Yeah, I feel like he's known as just one of the great, greatest bluegrass players out there,

but he's also so versatile.

He can do so much more.

Yeah, so much more.

I don't like genreing people, really.

I mean, I'm just going to say it. He's a genre buster.

Let's not genre him. Sorry. But I feel like he really floats through everything.

He definitely does. He's a mold breaker. Yeah, he's incredible. And he's also like, what a nice guy.
