Just got a text from another buddy of mine who's a business owner, small business owner,

in the DC area.

His text, at one point I had four downtown locations, closed them all over the past three years.

I wonder why.

He says no one is doing well in the city.

And to follow up on Tom's call, look, we're going to disagree on this, but I understand that not every neighborhood in D.C. has a crime problem.

I get that. And where you live in Columbia Heights, maybe it's fine. But that's not where Ted's

arena is. It's not in Columbia Heights. It's in Chinatown.

All right and there is a crime problem in Chinatown. So don't tell me that every single spot is booming.

I'll just say this quickly, this guy said, I can't find it right in front of me he sent me a

tweet and he said yeah my brother-in-law works security cap-one arena he says people

watch him to see where he goes and then when he goes to another location they break into cars they broke into almost 30 cars in a recent

concert and he said and the police don't even respond to their calls because they got bigger

fish to fry. Yeah they can't they got bigger fish to for all there's not enough cops to deal with that either.
