Jason Gibbs with you field side here at the cross-country mortgage campus, where the Browns will have their final public practice before the second preseason game, the first, where we will see the starters this Friday against the Washington Cup.

Are that final practice? We heard from Deshan Watson that he will start at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns in this game against the commanders.

We will hear, I'm sure, a lot more from Browns head coach Kevin Stephanski coming up in just a little bit, but this is going to be kind of the first tune-up for the starters, and then we all remember that first tune-up a year ago down in Jacksonville did not go as well.

Well, drops, fumbles, injuries, hopefully this one will go a lot better than that.

Boy, let's hope so. And in front of the home crowd, the only time the home crowd will get to see us next time, since an anti-week one.

Yep.

So, weather looks to be good, starters going to play a little bit, and we'll hear more from Kevin Stephanski about that at 130 today.

But, I mean, this is the last open practice to the public for 10 days.

Yeah.

I mean, tomorrow we'll go through a walkthrough, Friday morning, some last minute adjustments, tweaks, and it's game day.

Saturday is the player off day, Sunday, flying to Philly, and then off to joint practices with the Eagles.

So, I mean, it's when we come back, we will have one week left of training camp.

Yeah, that part of it is wild.

It feels like, and it's funny, we talked about how successful that green briar trip was from the standpoint of keeping things fresh.

Just even this week, just being here for this, and this will only be like the third practice or fourth practice, I guess, of the week.

It feels like we've been here for a while already, and you're ready to get things going.

Nice practice on Monday in the rain, I thought Sean Watson, the offense had a very, very good day.
