And today I'm pleased to introduce to you Talking Funny on HBO, a 2011 special, a roundtable

discussion with Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Louis C.K.

Talking Funny is, it's a heavily requested episode, probably because it essentially is this show

just with smarter and more qualified minds doing the talking.

It's pretty much just a comedy breakdown.

And we're breaking down that breakdown.

Yes, we are adding 40 extra minutes to a 49 minute comedy special.

And we're probably adding nothing that Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock,

Louis and Ricky Jervais were not capable of. So if it's, if that sounds like it's something

for you, then strap in because we're going to break it all down. And I found this to be an

interesting episode to do for a couple of reasons. A, it's heavily requested. People talk about it a lot. And I think Craig just reminded me a couple weeks ago, he mentioned it on the program. And then even just from that, I got messages saying, you should do that talking funny episode. So I don't know if I've said in the past that I wanted to do it, but it's been my list for a while. People have been looking for it, so I figured why not get to it?

But the other reason is, I think if there's one through line on why are you laughing,

this is a totally separate, you can watch any individual episode,
