I have a guest with me making his second appearance on the show. I'm

delighted to be joined by science editor and head science writer at the debrief,

also a self professed nerdessed published author and all-round

good guy Chris Plain.

It's a pleasure.

No, it's good to have you back on listening and we got thrown into a little bit of disarray.

I don't know a minutes, minutes before we were due to record the long delayed awaited rumored myth prophesied about UFO report that was due October 31st has

dropped 12th of January 2023 so I think we kind of have to start there

Chris don't we we've got to caveat that by saying we've both had one run through of the report it's as pretty limited as as many expected it covers 12 pages if you open up the PDF but bearing mind the first page

as the front cover. There's in a table of contents which is the second page and then the last few pages are summaries and

appendices. So...

Closuries of terms and all of that. Yeah, I'm going to say straight off the

bat just looking and we're talking now half an hour worth of reaction

online it seems to be underwhelming or what was expected depending on what side of the

offense you can I fell down on. Is that fair from what you've seen?

Yeah, I think it's so similar to the first report in the sense that it's like here's what we're doing here's our

duties and we've had X number of cases I think there was over 500 that they

reference in this report this This many have been resolved, this many haven't, or at least

...
