Multi-platinum hip-hop producer Dr. Dre has signed a multi-year feature producing deal at New Line Cinema.

Variety reports that New Line President Toby Emrick first approached Dre a year ago.

Unfortunately, Dre provided New Line's business affairs guys with some chronic of such astonishingly high quality

that the deal memo didn't get ridden up until last week.
