The biggest story that we have nationwide anyway.

And maybe you don't relate to it so much here, and understandably so, is the big winter storm, the bomb cyclone, they call this.

Now, the reason they call it a bomb cyclone is because your pressures and your temperatures are dropping very rapidly.

We talked with Alex Stone, who's an ABC reporter who's based here in Los Angeles,

that he said the temperature in Denver dropped something like more than 30 degrees in nine minutes

yesterday, which is wild. It's just incredible. That's bizarre. That's like walking into a

freezer at Costco.

Speaking of Costco, all the worry in the Midwest anyway about the weather and how bad it's going to be and these blizzard warnings that are all over the place.

I just ran across this.

The executive director of communications and external affairs for Grand Rapids, Michigan Public Schools is Leon Hendricks.

And he tweeted, I'm at Costco because a snowstorm is coming.

I don't need anything, but this feels like the right thing to do.

I feel safe.

My goodness, that is so true.

And so shelves are emptying.
