My guest this week is Chris Leib.

Chris's artistic journey began by way of anthropology and a near miss with a career in real estate.

An apprenticeship with Roberto Lupetti provided a foundation from which his talent could organically grow.

Chris talks about overcoming setbacks, including an explosion that forced him to move his home and studio.

It's an amazing story that left me a little speechless.

He also talks about life with a fellow artist as a spouse and the habits and mindsets that contribute

to his creativity.

Chris is a painter with a wonderful sense of humor and a healthy dose of curiosity. He's a realist painter with a twist. He paints

bonobos and astronauts in pretty hilarious yet humbling scenes. You know, whenever I start to lose perspective, I have to remind

myself that we are just silly little monkeys clinging to a rock spinning around in outer
