A season of upward trajectory for DePaul basketball this past year with the Blue

Demons finish in 16 and 16.

We'll spend a little time talking about the demons themselves, but we wanted to talk with their head coach because we were like, look, we want to talk to people who know what they're looking at when it comes to tournament basketball. And Chris Holman does know what he's looking at because he's coached in a lot of tournaments throughout his career. He's the head coach of the DePaul Blue Demons. And he joins us now here on the Spiego and Home Show. Coach, thanks so much for joining us. We appreciate it. I appreciate it, guys. It's great to be with you. All right. So there's a lot to talk about when it comes to the tournament, but I would like to get your kind of final thoughts about the DePaul season. Like what were the things that you took away from what you guys did and did not accomplish this year?

Well, you know, I appreciate one, you know, having me on and giving us an opportunity to talk about DePaul Hoops.

It was a good year in a lot of ways.

And I think it was also a year that left us hungry for a lot more to accomplish.

You know, we had the highest finish that we've ever had in the Big East,

and that's, you know, 20 years in the making.

A six seed in the Big East tournament was the highest seed we've ever had.

We had the most Big East wins eight since 2007.

You know, we were able to sweep a couple opponents,

and we had not done that in a number of years.

And there were some real highs.
