Hi everybody, we're coming to you from the Pioneer Saloon outside of Las Vegas. My name

is Tao Craig Harris. I'm with Music Matters podcast and we have our special guest today,

Chris Hears. So the Pioneer is actually a very famous place. It's very well known to

be haunted, which we both experienced. And by the way, they are working today, so if

you're little clanks and clanks, that's what's going on. We have people, the bars open,

I guess on the other side. But I don't, Chris. I'm doing great. I met the Pioneer

Saloon. It's the best place in the world, I think. Yeah, it's fun. It's like such a fun

place to hang out. A lot of times I'll come out, actually, just a chill and have a steak.

Now it's wonderful just being here. Yeah, cool. So you're a singer-songwriter. You're

very well known in Vegas and actually nationally because you've toured quite a bit and been

recording in Nashville and all sorts of places. So tell me about that, living in Vegas and

all that stuff. Well, living in Vegas is, we're very lucky, as we've talked about before,

because there's so many places to play and there's so many tours already coming through.

So it's almost like touring but not having to tour. So people come in here to do residencies.

Living in Vegas is kind of like a residency if you're playing places that have tours coming

in. This is a great example of the Pioneer Saloon. You've got all these Europeans that

are always here and you've got local people. You've got bikers. You've got one time I was

playing here and there were bikers over here and a bunch of nuns over here and some people

from Finland over here and you know it was great. Everybody gets along. Yeah, it's such a

fun vibe and it's like this is like that. Yeah, and this Saloon is kind of, it's in the
