Hello and welcome to another CollectingCars podcast over the Zoom.

Sorry about my slightly dingy background, Edward's got the lovely CollectingCars logo.

And we are here with the third party Ian Litchfield of Litchfield Motors, a friend of mine for 20 years or more,

someone who's well known to people that have loved anything from a Subaru, to a Nissan GTR,

to Lattily, BMW M cars, and more and more and more. He's a, I suppose he's one of the country's pre-aminent tuners

and currently has a monopoly on R35 tuning in the UK, it would seem.

But as you can probably guess, there's a reason for getting this together now.

We were going to do it a while ago, but we wanted to do it face to face.

However, yesterday, I caused a bit of a cuffuffle with a tweet that I put out

about an interaction that Ian had had over his newly developed Yaris GR, or is it GR, Yaris, suspension kit.

So we thought we'd, we'd get him on to have a quick chat about that.

We're going to be entirely about that issue, because there's lots to talk about within.

That's positive and fun. And fundamentally, ours is not a serious industry.

We just mess around with cars. So we're not going to get too lost in the,

what we think was the seriousness of yesterday's tweet, because it wasn't really.

I stay cut now, but nothing to do with cars is really serious.

But it's all a bit of fun and a good bit of joshing.

And I do think it's helpful to add some checks and balances sometimes within our world.

And I'm not, I'm not a gatekeeper. I'm not a policeman. I don't see myself like that at all.

I'm just like anyone else. However, I think it's sometimes interesting to look around and question the way we all treat each other and the practices that we're involved with.
