But it was a little bit of a challenge, but kind of just fine. For me, I have like the worst phobia of flying. So every flight is like, I'm basically about to die every single time. Yeah. Earlier on when I was traveling, I went through phases like that. But at some point,

you just got to get over it. And I think the more you fly, the less anxiety you have.

It is what it is. So we're not here to talk about flying. So to catch a predator, but you're also a journalist, podcaster, television personality.

You wear many hats.

Obviously, the most iconic thing is probably going to be to catch a predator.

Absolutely.

Would you have ever guessed that you'd be busting as many pedophiles over the years that he had?

Never.

And again, it's 10% of my portfolio, essentially, but it is absolutely the most

recognizable, iconic pop culture thing that I've ever done. And I honestly thought we'd do it.

Well, in the beginning, I didn't know if anybody would show up. You know, we had this home

in Beth Page Long Island, and I'm driving out there, and I'm thinking, what if I've just wasted tens of thousands of dollars at the network's money? What if nobody shows up? We had partnered with perverted justice. The police were not involved in the first two investigations. And the phone rings, and I pick it up. It's my producer, Lynn Keller, who says, where the hell are you? We've got two guys scheduled to be here in 45 minutes. I said, holy hell, race out there and it's happening. And it was just shocking to have these guys showing up. And we didn't have the system down in that first investigation. So the transcripts were getting mixed up, and I was walking out with the wrong transcript for the wrong guy and so I'd sit there and say well says here you want to do this and the other thing

with a 12 year old girl named Suzanne no that's not me excuse me 13 year old named Beth no it's not

me third time yeah Carla who's 13 yeah that's me okay great and went into the interview but it was

mind-moggling I thought we'd do it two or three times and nobody would show up. And here we are 18 years later. We did one two months ago.

Yeah, you're still doing it. And a cop showed up. A police officer. The guy was a cop. The guy was a cop. Oh my God. Isn't that crazy?

Yeah.

It's crazy how, you know, you think of crimes like other sort of comparable, like crimes against humanity, like serial killers and whatever.
