I have the pleasure of speaking with Chris Green,

professor of public theology at Southeastern University in Lincoln, Florida,

and pastor at Sanctuary Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Today we will be talking about his brand new, Off the Press's book, All Things Beautiful and

Aesthetic Christology, published with Baylor University Press in 2021. I am delighted to talk with

you about this book, Chris. Welcome.

I'm not exactly sure. But that's just want to sort of note the location, our location in time,

as we are talking now. So let's begin to get to know you a little bit. You've got quite a set of job titles.

Could you start us off today by talking about what public theology is? We've had a lot of different theologians on the podcast. It's always helpful to hear from people how they sort of embody theology.

So if you could talk about what public theology is and what your journey
