We've had Chris on before, and we're going to go through

0:21.7

to today's Q3, 2024 report that's just been released. This isn't a substitute for actually

0:28.9

going through the report, so we're going to assume either it's red or is going to be read

0:34.4

and just call out a few key bits. I think one of the big ones is that

0:38.4

some of the media attention has been that total funding is down and that that is definitely

0:42.9

one message. But number of deals is up. And I think that's, that's actually a good thing.

1:11.7

deal or a Canva deal announced, those were the boom, boom months. I think now that we've moved

1:17.3

to a quarterly, that is a little smoother. But if you look at last quarter, so Q2, it was a real

1:23.8

bounce back in the total of total funding. but that was driven by a handful of very

1:29.5

large deals and this year, this quarter, I should say, those just weren't there. So there

1:35.2

were no deals over $100 million announced. There was only a very small handful over 50.
