Coach, I never thought that he would really take that next step in his second season. I mean, he's been great. He really has,

and I'm going to say contender too, because they don't make mistakes. They don't beat themselves.

They had the one little spat with the turnovers early in the season. Fumble the ball four times

against Pittsburgh. But other than that, you don't see the mental mistakes. You don't see

breakdowns. and they're getting

tremendous quarterback play right now. Drake May is playing as well as any quarterback in the league.

The only thing I would say is there were a couple breakdowns in the past and defense, okay?

But because Drake May, he's so good, it kind of covers it up.

Yeah.

But that's something I know Mike will focus on and get straightened out. I think the more wide open the AFC is, the more wide open the NFL is, the more it benefits a team like this, the New England Patriots, you start looking at a man, they sneak into the playoffs. They can win a play game or two. With that type of quarterback play, anything's possible. And the defense continues to get better.

We're going to get better and better.

The hype train on Drake May, for sure, completely deserved.

He's playing that well.

I don't think Drake May is getting overhyped at all.

I think he's playing at that level.

So on May, there's no accusation of overhype. The team,

is there any overhype on the team, Maas? Yeah, a little bit. Yeah, a little bit. Again,

now the quarterback has sort of on a different planet right now, but they've had an unbelievably

soft schedule and played some, you know, I think Tennessee

is horrifically bad, and I'm not sure Carolina is all that much better.

So they've had a really, really soft schedule.
