So here we are on on Wednesday and Chris Cuomo is sitting in my living room.

0:14.8

Now why is Chris Cuomo sitting in my living room formerly of CNN?

0:18.0

Well I've never met Chris Cuomo before today and of course for years I was incredibly mean to Chris Cuomo on

0:24.9

TV. Why I can't really say now. But I'll say this. He was one of the very first

0:30.9

people to call me completely out of the blue, no idea how I got my

0:34.4

number after I left my job last spring and that began a series of conversations

0:38.8

very long conversations in which I discovered that Chris Cuomo is a really interesting person and that we disagree on some things we don't disagree on everything at all.

0:49.0

And I thought, wow, I wonder how many other people like Chris Cuomo are out there, people I have dismissed or mocked

1:35.0

And because I knew the pain of it, and I knew the challenge of it.

1:40.4

And everything is different, but I do believe that one of the lessons I've learned is you have to think about how other people are being affected by situations, especially once you have pain in your own life.

1:55.8

And it doesn't matter what you agree with, what you like, what you don't like.

1:59.8

It's all gotten so far removed from humanity that the idea that I don't like that

2:04.8

Tucker Carlson takes a bite out of my ass on his show on a regular basis.

2:08.8

I think you had a good reason not to like me I think that that would be fair.

2:11.0

But that that means that this is not somebody who you should care about as a human being.
