You're listening to Sound Opinions and this week we're talking with Chris Connolly about his

0:30.0

ambitious new tribute to Nico. I'm Jim Deorgatus and I'm Greg Connolly. We'll talk about why

0:36.1

Connolly is such a Nico fan and hear recent listener feedback. But first we've lost another great artist,

0:42.4

Bert Backwreck.

0:52.4

That is the Chorales of course with Baby It's You, a song that's been covered countless times.

1:16.4

2:32.1

look at the jazz world people like Sonny Rollins or Son Roll on Kirk Bill Evans look at the white

2:38.0

stripes covering him look at Bjork covering him in addition to artist like Dusty Springfield and

2:44.5

Dion Warwick and Cilla Black who were contemporaries of him in the 60s singing those songs. He attracted

2:53.1

the best musicians the best singers because of the complexity and the artistry in his
