On the news, that Michigan is in the tournament.

We watched that last night during the Selection Sunday show.

They avoided the playing game.

Texas A&M, a lot of people who thought were in, they're out, and now they have a favorable matchup against Colorado State? What a difference less than a day

makes. It really is, right? And you weren't sure if they were to be playing in Dayton, I was

packed for Dayton, Bill. I'll be honest. I thought if they were going to get in, that was going to be it.

But, you know, bracket matrix is an interesting one to follow. They got about 150 brackets and

guys who really break down the advanced metrics. And that's what the committee is really using now.

The Ken Palms and the net and everything else and strength of schedule.

It's not about 17 and 14 and how many losses you have. It's who you played, how many

tough teams you played and beat. Michigan was right up there in a lot of those metrics,

so that's why a lot of people thought that they would avoid those last four.

After they beat Ohio State, because they weren't going to move much either way,

if they lost Indiana, for example, after they'd be Ohio State,

then most people thought that they would be in and avoid the last four in

if there weren't a ton of bubble teams that burst their

bubble. And they didn't. There were a couple. Richmond obviously beating Davidson. Davidson now

in Michigan State. So that worked in Michigan's favor. And yeah, I think the first round

matchup is about as good as you could ask for an 11 seed. It's a reason they're favored by

two and a half points. I think Tennessee is a team that you don't want to be playing right now. Rick Barnes' teams don't really advance in the tournament, but this is one of the best that he's had. I think they're 15 and two in their last 17 games, Bill, and that's a really athletic team. So it could be tough on Michigan's guards. But if you're Michigan fan right now, you're just
