Chris, Bulldog Ballas. That's his name at the Wolverine.com. Is that the right nickname to have with Michigan playing the Bulldogs? Probably not at this point, man, but I tell you, I feel like what? He's been on the road for about a week and a half. Just went to the Brasson and got back covering John Howard's basketball team, so it's been a whirlwind and just booked our trip to Miami, Bill,

and still hard to believe they're there, isn't it, after what we predicted at the beginning of the season,

and what a job that Jim Harbaugh has done with that football team.

And with the mojo they had, Ohio State 42 points, demolishing Iowa last Saturday night in the Big Ten title,

I do wonder, Chris, now that you shut it down,

and it will ram back up with George, obviously, that sellout at the Orange Bowl at 8 p.m. on New

Year's Eve. Do you think, I know they probably would have rather played this Saturday night,

but will, does this delay help or hurt Michigan?

You know, I don't think it matters.

I think that because it's what's at stake, this isn't like a second-tier bowl game they're

preparing for anything like that.

They understand that all their goals are still ahead of them, all of them, including the

national championship, and you're going to see this be a focused team. I remember talking to Doug Skeen, my podcast partner who played at Michigan, he was an All-Big Ten offensive lineman, and he said, you know, that last team of theirs, there was always a tendency after the Ohio State game. You go home and you get fat and happy over the holidays, but that last team made it a point, and they said that's not happening this year. We're going to go out and we're going to go out and the right way. And I think there's so much DNA on this team that's similar to that, that these guys understand that they can get a couple of days rest here before they get right back to work. So the leadership is so good on this team with guys like Aidan Hutchinson and Andrew Vistartis, the offensive

lineman that I think they're going to be just fine.
