As you can see, we got Brian Wagner back with us today.

As we promised, we're going to continue to go through the John Piper's interpretation of

Ephesians chapter one. If you remember last time we were doing part five, it was. He also had a

part six and now into part seven. We skipped over part six because there wasn't really a lot more

meat there than what was in the first one.

And so we're going to just go right into part seven with that. So Brian, welcome. Thanks for

jumping on with me. So here's the last minute. Thank you. Welcome to you too. Thanks, guys,

for coming on and watching and being a part of this. I think we'll have fun here. But remember, as we go

through this, we're still showing respect to John Piper, but we disagree with John Piper. And I think as

you listen to him talk, at least Brian and I both had the feeling like it's almost like he sees

it, he sees our vantage point, but doesn't want to see it again i'm

reading into his words i can't say that that's the case but just you you be the judge as we

listen to this and you tell me if if some of what he says doesn't seem to really indicate

our perspective even more so than the perspective he's trying to advocate for.

And oh, by the way, notice the question that he asks here right at the beginning.

It says, we are chosen as sinful or innocent.

See that?

We are chosen as sinful or innocent, question mark. And so ask

the self the question, if we're chosen before the foundation of the world, before we have

done anything good or bad, then that would be we're chosen when we're neither done anything
