2022 as I record this. And I've just got in from my walk. It is the first snow day here in

bath of the winter. And British people really don't know what to do with snow. We just get very

excited. And so we went for a walk and it was lovely. I've put pictures on Instagram and Facebook

at JF Penn author. In today's show, I'm talking to first time author Barnaby Jameson, who is a barrister

here in the UK, a King's Council, specialising in anti-terrorism, and he recently released his first historical novel.

Barnaby is very well connected in the literary world and considered doing a traditional

publishing deal but decided to go indie. And he talks about what he learned, what he will

do better next time. And a lot of people wanted to know more about the first time experience

of self-publishing.

And it's very interesting also discussion on the value of intellectual property

and why obviously Barnaby's a lawyer, so he understands this kind of thing,

but very important for us to know about.

I'll talk about that a bit more in a minute.
