I'm Susie Larson, so honored to get to spend this time with you. In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, the deep in your understanding of God's Word and that heightenen your awareness of God's very real presence in your life. You know, we pray constantly behind the scenes that God will bring us the right guests at the right time. We typically book our guests about a month in advance. Today's guest, I believe, is divinely timed, given the headlines, given all the upsurge of violence in our day. I'm so honored to welcome back. David White Jr., had him on, I haven't going to say a couple months ago to talk about his book, Love Over Fear, Facing Monsters, Befriending Enemies, and Healing Our Polarized World. He says, whether it's the news, social media, or well-intentioned friends, we're told daily to fear others. We fear strangers,

neighbors, the other side of the aisle, even those who parent differently. And when we're confronted with something that scares us, our brain only sees two options, attack or avoid.

But he said either way, polarization intensifies. But what if you could defy your own instincts

and choose a third option?

What if you decided instead to embrace scandalous, unthinkable love?

You know what, what happened in and around us if we started to defy our instinctive reaction

to react in fear? And we decided to believe what Scripture says is there's no fear in love.
