Hey everybody, I'm excited to be recording the 23rd episode of the All Things Fishing podcast this week. And this week's episode is about choosing a pair of waiters.

So in this episode, I'll go over the different materials, the different types of ways you can get, the different materials,

the different prices, and all that stuff. Hopefully, hopefully it'll help you choose, choose what

waiters you should get. So obviously, once you made the decision to get waiters, then there's two,

the two most basic options is chest waiters or

hip waiters. So obviously, like it sounds, chest waiters go up to your chest and they strap

over your shoulders, but hip weighters just go up to your hips and they clip onto your belt.

So chest waiters, you're generally going to want if you're surf fishing, it'll just cover more

of your body.

You can go into the surf farther without getting too wet.

But hip waiters, if you're freshwater fishing in a fairly shallow stream are just trying to

wait across a small pond or something to get to a fishing spot,

then hip waiters are generally going to be good. So once you made the decision between chest

waiters and hip waiters, then you have the decision on what material to buy. So that's the three, I'm sure there's a bunch more

materials out there, but the three main ones I saw when I looked up waiters was PVC, neoprene,

and rubber. So I'll start with PVC. PVC is the ones I saw the most.

They seem to be in about the $35 range, which is pretty cheap for waiters.
