but certainly Nurner name's off season got off to a tumultuous start when a week ago Sunday, so that would have been, I think,

I believe December 8th, Brian Kelly let Chip Long know that he would not be retained. That news came out four days later.

Notre Dame was in a little bit of scramble mode at that point. You know, certainly there was some planning that went into getting

Brian Kelly on the road and in front of as many offensive skill prospects as possible.
