On today's show, Meta is planning to roll out new content restrictions for teen users on

Instagram and Facebook. We'll find out what kind of content will be restricted and

whether the new settings will address parents concerns from W.S.J. family and

tech columnist Julie Jargan. And then, U.S. regulators have barred companies from exporting their most advanced artificial intelligence chips to China.

That's pushed shipmaker NVIDIA to start selling lower-powered chips to Chinese companies.

Now, those companies are moving away from

NVIDIA. W.S.J reporter Asa Fitch tells us what that means for the company's future

and how it could be a boon for China's homegrown chipmakers.

But first, in the coming weeks, Meta will start to roll out tighter content restrictions

for its under 18 users on Facebook and Instagram.

These new default settings are designed to reduce teens consumption of harmful material.

Julie, Meta is going to start rolling out restrictions on the kind of

content users under 18 can see on its platforms. What kind of content are we

actually talking about here? We're talking about all types of harmful content for people of that age,

and that includes content related to self-harm, suicide, graphic violence, and eating disorders, and in the case of kids under the age of 16 sexually explicit content.
