I mean every time I go out I won't tell my wife because that's really worrying her and also the kid and I mean we all know if we chose to work for the Lord, you know, you will be persecuted for sure.

Jesus never promised his followers an easy path.

In fact, he told his disciples that the world would hate them. He sent them out as sheep

among wolves. Jesus's words came true in the life of the Apostles and they're still coming

true today in the lives of his followers around the world.

But today we're sitting down with a Bible smuggler, one of our VOM partners who helps us distribute

God's word all over China.

I had to travel light because I didn't want to look like a journalist going through security,

which would draw too much attention to the people that I wanted to meet with.

So I didn't have a lot of equipment. The sound quality won't be as good as the guests who come and sit down in our studio,

but it's worth it to hear firsthand the joys and challenges of following Jesus

Christ in China.
