Hey everybody, we're on Mauro here and today we've got a lot more information about Tesla's

situation in China in September.

We've got new numbers, including production most importantly, so we'll take a look at

that and some of the takeaways on what has become a pretty focal point for Tesla as of

late.

Also got some news on the Model S and Model X in China and a couple other items as well.

Pretty volatile and interesting day for Tesla stock on the day today.

We did have an outperformance from Tesla to begin the day versus the broader market, then

the NASDAQ climbed back to green Tesla kind of hovered around there and then later in the

day fell, ended up underperforming down 2.9% on the day, $2216.50, while the NASDAQ did

end up reverting and finished the day down 1.1%.

For Tesla, I think that underperformance really started around the time that a vice article

about Elon Musk came out.

The article sites a newsletter published by Ian Bremer of Eurasia Group that claims

that Elon Musk told him that Elon Musk had spoken with Vladimir Putin before some of

his recent tweets about the Russia-Ukraine war.

Elon shortly thereafter responded to a question on Twitter asking, is this true?

Elon said quote, no it is not, I've spoken to Putin only once and that was about 18 months

ago.

The subject matter was space.
