Hello everyone. It's Matt and I just wanted to get in here before the episode starts to let you know that we had planned on banking this episode to release at a later date or in case of emergency.

But then an actual emergency happened the day after we recorded the episode. So we are releasing it instead of recording a fresh one like we had intended.

The episode is new and was recorded just before the state of emergency occurred in Southern

California. So you might hear us being vague about when we were recording. And that's because

we didn't want it to seem like we were, you know, holding it on to an episode from January to

release in May or whenever we were intending to do it if we needed

to use it that far out. So you might hear some silly stuff like that. You also might hear us

making some predictions about stuff that hasn't come true yet. And that's because we thought

maybe by the time this had come out some of the things we were talking about, maybe what

have happened by then. But you'll see. It's all fine.

We're all fine, and hopefully by the time you're hearing this,

the fires in Los Angeles have been extinguished.

Our hearts go out to those directly affected by the fires.
