Given the fact that President Trump himself isn't opposed to gay marriage and that the 2024 GOP platform dropped language that opposed gay marriage, how do you respond to the argument that overturning Obergefell is impossible?

Well, I agree that it's impossible if we've tried it the way we've always done it.

And we're going to do something very, very different here.

I think that President Trump, just like most Americans, if you ask them, do you support gay marriage?

They'd say, yeah, sure, because I like gay people and I love my gay family and friends.

But if you ask them a different question,

which is, do children need their mother and father? I think everybody, including President Trump,

would say, well, of course children need their mother and father. That's what we're going to do.

We're going to change the entire question that is being asked of the courts and the culture.
